The Doors starts to change the story of rock. In 1968...

Morrison and his unique performance
It is hard to think about a rock show and do not remember "Live at Bowl", performed by The Doors in Hollywood, in July the 5th. The year? 1968, sure.

That presentation was remarkable for a series of reasons. The performance of Jim Morrison, vocalist and leader of the band, was one of them. Controversial, involved with alcohol and drugs, Morrison was a special singer not just because of his voice but also because of his interpretation -- intense until the limit.

The show "Live at Bowl" showed The Doors at its highest level of interpretation. All the people who were there at Hollywood Bowl could not take their eyes out of the stage. The show was considered even better because that was a period of contestation and The Doors was everything except a conventional rock band.

After "Live at Bowl" the fame of The Doors and specially of Jim Morrison grew dramatically. The band started to be considered as one of the most important in the rock history.

Unfortunately, Morrison died in 1971, in Paris. It was predictable that this could happen, taking in consideration his style of life. But The Doors did not survive more than two years without him.

Anyway, The Doors and Morrison became an important reference of tha period. Thanks to a show that happened... when?... You guess!
